Internet Safety Resource - you must have!
I would like to introduce you to an absolutely fantastic ‘must have’ new resource which is for anyone working in education.
This resource enables folk to explore articles, sites and reports relative to E-Safety. The matrix that has been put together by the National Education Network.. It is an interactive list of links to useful documents and websites relating to E-Safety. The Content Matrix also includes a list of key organisations involved in E-Safety.
This is just one of the new resources we will be highlighting in the forthcoming courses in Highland that are open to any professionals working with children and young people. All courses are balanced and take into account the recommendations of the Bryon Review and emerging new technologies. The courses also use the brand new CEOP resources and provide local support services information.
The E-Safety Strategy is progressing well in Highland. A report will be presented at the next The Highland Council Education, Culture and Sport Committee outlining the intentions of the E-Safety Steering Group in taking this vital work forward across Highland.
